We are delighted to announce the formation of Enoda Health. Enoda is dedicated to helping people suffering from mobility loss by producing high quality and real-world data on mobility for use in clinical trials and clinical care.

Mobility loss is a major issue impacting about 1 billion people worldwide, and is the consequence of many common respiratory, cardiovascular, musculoskeletal and neurological conditions. Efforts to develop therapies to address these conditions are hampered by an inability to get simple, cost effective and accurate mobility data. The result is that mobility data has been underutilised in clinical trials and clinical care, with knock-on impacts for therapeutic development and clinical care.

In 2019, a consortium of industry and academia came together in a €50m project called Mobilise-D to address this gap with the creation of the world’s first digital mobility outcomes (walking speed, steps, cadence, etc.) that were robustly technically and clinically validated in real-world conditions. Enoda has been formed by a number of people who were instrumental in the successful delivery of that project in order to commercialise the technology and realise the many benefits it can bring to clinical trials and clinical care. Download our first white paper on “Why Measuring Real-World Mobility Matters” here to find out more.

We look forward to working with you to improve the lives of millions of people by preserving the health, freedom and independence that mobility provides.
